How do I run a first survey?
Create your account with your company VAT number. We review every company by hand, then your 2 trial surveys are waiting in your workspace. You choose a plan afterwards, if Batimaps suits you.
How long does approving my account take?
We approve every company by hand, from its VAT number. You get an email as soon as it is done, and your trial surveys are then unlocked in your workspace.
How much does it cost?
Yearly or quarterly plans, by the number of surveys per year. You see them in your workspace, and you choose one only after your trial surveys, if Batimaps suits you.
Are the figures accurate enough for a quote?
Yes, for pricing a quote: pitches in degrees, developed areas facet by facet, every linear run measured edge by edge. When a value deserves a check, the survey tells you.
Where does the data come from?
Mostly from the public data of the regions: the GRB and the DHMV height model in Flanders, UrbIS in Brussels, the PICC and the height models of the Walloon public service in Wallonia.
What if the roof has changed since the aerial images?
The survey measures the roof as it was at the last flight over the region. A more recent change, an extension or a dormer for instance, is therefore not in it yet.
What if a survey gives nothing?
It is not counted against your surveys. And when a figure is doubtful, the survey says so and names the values to check.
Which regions do you cover?
All three Belgian regions: Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.
Does it work on a terraced house?
Yes, it is the ordinary case. The party wall is read in the land registry: you get the roof of your building, not the roof of the block.
Can I survey several buildings at once?
Yes. In a project, select the house, the extension or the garage next to it on the map: each building gets its own take-off.
